QuizKnight.co.uk reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, alter, or otherwise update these Terms at any time and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates.
QuizKnight.co.uk is committed to protecting your privacy, we will not supply your personal information to any third party without your permission. Information collected about you will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (to be replaced by GDPR, with our full compliance already in place).
Personal information will only be used for the following reasons;To fulfill orders you have made through our website, to react to other requests/queries we receive from you, and to update you on any changes/additions to our site that we believe will be of interest to our customers.
Important - We will never pass on any details we hold about you to any other website or organisation.
Our shopping cart system is hosten by Romancart, who are in full compliance with GDPR as shown here.
We do not keep on record any debit or credit card information from your online purchases (we do not even see this information).
PayPal also process the payments on our behalf using SSL servers to ensure the maximum-security. If you wish to pay by cheque all you need to do is write your postal address on the rear of the cheque when posted to us - no further information is required to reconcile your order.
Some international orders are processed by 2Checkout using a number of different currency choices. 2Checkout.com does not allow any transactions that do not occur on a Secure connection.
We display a small amount of relevant advertising on our free quiz pages (eg travel advertisements with the Geography Quizzes) and in our mailed free quizzes. You will only receive newsletter mailings by using the opt in sign up. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any point. By subscribing to our newsletter you accept that free quiz pages and quiz e-mails may have discreet advertising content - of course you are under no obligation whatsoever to click on such adverts. Furthermore, we cannot be held responsible for the content of these third party websites should you choose to follow any links displayed on this website or in emails.
Specific Terms and Conditions
Your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations applies only to orders placed to be fulfilled by post. If you wish to cancel your order you must return it to us in unopened condition for a full refund of the purchase price.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, quizzes that are received by immediate download, fax or e-mail are classed as "opened" at that point. As such, they cannot be cancelled. You are entitled to cancel the remainder of any fax or e-mail quiz subscription for weeks prior to being faxed/e-mailed to you.
We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss incurred should there be any errors in the quizzes we have supplied. We verify and compile our quizzes from a range of encyclopaedic and online resources which makes errors unlikely. However, should you provide details of an error we will gladly offer a full refund or replacement quiz. In all cases we always recommend the use of the "Quizmaster is right" rule to avoid any confusion amongst the contestants.
There are some infrequent occasions during the year when we will not be available to provide an instant response to your query (we may be on annual holiday for example) - we advise customers well in advance if this is the case. We also post any affected quizzes out well in advance too so that there is no disruption to our service.
All downloaded quizzes, answer sheets etc are in Microsoft Word .doc format and as such an alternative format cannot be provided. However, an alternative .txt format can be supplied to those customers who choose the advance subscription to our QuizKnight Weekly by E-mail service.
All content of the website and supplied by all means described on the website remains the copyright of QuizKnight.co.uk and as such cannot be copied, lent, or resold without express permission from ourselves.
Whilst we make sure all the safeguards are met to exclude viruses from the website and/or our quizzes we cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability can be accepted for viruses and thus you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from this website.
